Italy ISD is Hiring! We have an open position in the cafeteria at the JHS/HS and Elementary! Our cafeteria staff is a very important part of the school. Nutritious school meals ensure that students are not distracted by hunger, enabling them to focus on their studies and participate actively in class. We hope the beginning of the school year is going well! Golden Chick and each of our franchisees kicked off a system-wide fundraising initiative last year to benefit select schools, students and teachers in our surrounding communities. This year, we’re making it even bigger and we’ve chosen your school to join in on the fun! From September 2 through December 29, $.50 from every order of our new Churros will go directly to local schools just like yours! Your school specifically was picked to be the recipient of funds raised by Golden Chick. This year, we’ve extended our fundraising timeline to give as much as possible back to those who are shaping and molding our communities and future generations. Last year, every school we supported received between $300 and $1,000 – with even more time, and with your help, we can make this number even bigger!

Stafford Family Reminder: Please join us for the PTO Meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10th at 5:15pm in the cafeteria. A few great reasons to attend: Connect with other parents. FFA Membership Drive – Italy FFA is holding a membership drive starting Tuesday 3rd through Monday 30th for 3rd-12th grade students that are enrolled at Italy ISD. Membership Dues are $25 this includes a t-shirt. Ms. Martinolich at Stafford has membership applications or the Ag teachers Mr. Rice, Mr. White or Ms. Harton at the JHS/HS. Cash or checks made out to Italy ISD.

Public Alert Since our last contact with you this morning we have had a technical difficulty with resetting the silent panic alert system as a result the lockdown alert was retriggered but is a false alarm. Stafford parents don't forget tomorrow is our first Dress Up day with Let'g Get Wild - wear you favorite animal print.

Repairs on the fiber line at Stafford are still ongoing. The current estimate to have Internet back at the school is by end of the day tomorrow. We are having to replace a large portion of the fiber. We will keep you updated as the situation changes thank you.
