Floral Design is selling candy bouquets for our February arrangement/Valentines Sale! Orders with payment are due to me by Monday, February 3rd. We accept cash or checks payable to Italy FFA. **Make sure you are attaching a specialized message for your Valentine, if you wish! Everything will be delivered on Thursday February 13th *We will be delivering throughout the HS during 2nd period or high school staff and students can also pick up during passing periods. Saturday Learning at Stafford - 3rd-6th Grades!

Inclement Weather Notice No school on January 9-10, 2025. Dear Italy ISD Families, The forecasted winter storm is approaching North Texas. Based on information from the National Weather Service, conditions will vary greatly within our community and region. There is a likelihood that road conditions could deteriorate during the school day on Thursday, which could create the potential for slick roads in our community and country roads. In order to ensure we do not put our students, staff and families in an unsafe situation, Italy ISD schools and offices will be closed Thursday, Jan. 9th and Friday, Jan. 10th. All after-school events and activities will be cancelled as well. The safety of our families and staff is a priority, and the decision to close was made out of an abundance of caution. With the weather possibly deteriorating during school hours on Thursday, we want to err on the side of safety to prevent a need to release school early. An early release creates many complications including but not limited to: ensuring parents are home to receive young children, parents picking up younger children earlier than usual, high school-aged drivers possibly driving home in difficult road conditions, and staff attempting to make it home in difficult conditions. We hope the early notification helps families with any necessary childcare arrangements. The days of missed instruction will not require make-up days. The Italy ISD calendar includes additional minutes to accommodate these two inclement weather days. However, if any additional inclement weather days are needed during the remainder of the semester, those days will likely be made up on a Friday we would not typically be at school. Stafford Reminder: Dear Families of 3rd-6th Parents, Performance will start at 5:30pm at the Italy High School Cafetorium, today, Monday, December 16th. The order will be 3rd, 4th, 5th, then 6th. The program should last around an hour. 3rd-5th grade please arrive at 5 pm. We will hold the students behind the stage until their performance time. Once they perform, they will exit the stage and sit with families. 6th grade please arrive at 5:30 pm. We will hold these students in the high school band room until their performance. Italy Gladiator Band Boosters will have refreshments available for purchase. (Popcorn, water, fruit punch)

For those students who are riding the Big Kahuna Fundraising Party Bus today.... UPDATED - due to the park being muddy and the boil water notice in Ennis. The students will ride the new Lego Bus that has tables so they can eat pizza on the party bus!!!
