Dear Stafford Parents and Students,
The 2025/2026 school year is back! For August 4th, enter the building through the cafeteria doors. Class lists will be on walls and tables in the cafeteria. Parents and students will exit through the front doors. All students, new, returning and transfer must be registered online to meet their teacher.***

Event Expectations:
* Find your child’s homeroom and visit the classroom. Your child’s teacher will be waiting for you in their classroom to introduce themselves.
*Please fill out the form in their classroom about how your child will get home the first day and the rest of the year (walker, bus and car riders).
*Come back for the first day of school, Wednesday, August 6th!
*We do have school on Friday, August 8th. No Fridays begin the week of August 11th.

Stafford doors will open at 7:20 a.m. A student is considered “morning tardy” if they are not inside the building by 7:45 a.m. Breakfast is available starting at 7:25 a.m.

These will be counted throughout the school year, and when a student reaches a certain amount, an hour of “learning recovery” will be required after school/designated Fridays.
Italy ISD Visitor Updates:
Visitors will not be allowed past the front office on the first day of school. The only exception are 2 parents of a PreK or Kinder student are allowed to walk their student to class on the first day of school. Please expect a longer wait time.
*Parents/Guardians are welcome to visit during lunches of scholars on any day except non-exempt days (i.e. STAAR, etc.). Starting on Monday, August 18, 2025.
*When visiting, parents will have a designated area to eat with their student(s) only, during their designated lunch period.
*Parents/Guardians are not allowed to eat lunch with other students or bring food for other students.
*Parents/registered guests will be allowed to have lunch with their students beginning August 18, 2025. Please make sure and bring your driver's license to run through our security system for a printed badge to be able to come to the cafeteria every time. See lunch schedule below:

Parent Portal: Log into your parent portal on www.italyisd.org. Complete the online registration process every school year for all Returning, New, and Transfer students for all grades. On this site you are also able to see attendance, grades, homework, and STAAR/EOC scores.
www.myschoolbucks.com - Check purchases, add money, and set up alerts for low balance. You can also add money directly through the cafeteria, cash or checks made out to Italy ISD. Student id/lunch number, you can ask your student for their lunch number or contact the front office of Stafford.
