Our students were provided an awesome learning opportunity this week. Thank you to Mr. McDaniel for organizing this amazing event for our students. Italy High School Bookclub met with (via Zoom) award winning author, screenwriter, graphic novelist, and Texan Joe Lansdale. Mr. Landsdale discussed perspective, inspiration, and the character development that went into the creation of this particular novel, All The Earth Thrown To The Sky. Students asked questions and were given an insight, in regards to his upcoming projects. This book is available for checkout at the Italy ISD library.

Out of abundance of caution, Italy ISD will be extending its holiday break until Monday, January 11th. This is partly due to a rise in Covid-19 cases among our faculty and staff. Faculty, staff, and students will all return to school on the 11th at their regular times.
